If installation is successful, check path.
E.g. fixpath (For details of using fixpath, see my earlier posting for installing gcc in IRIX forum JH ->;

请问这个.background文件是xli安装好以后就自动出现了吗？
我在装系统的时候把附带的四张freeware全装上了
运行xli没有问题
下面该怎么做？自己写.background还是修改该文件（奇怪的是我没有找到这个文件，从sgi新下载的fw_xli，安装时产生很多的冲突）
谢啦~~都是小问题
花了好长时间才知道，原来换个桌面并不象windows那样操作，看来对于irix不能想当然，呵呵:)

Well, I recall I need to write my own .background as in my above postings (I was using IRIX-6.5.17m). Background is just for fun and do eat some resources for slow and low-end machines -- I just show how to do it but dis-able this option after this subject-posting.
