最近想做nim安装，于是查遍了论坛，找到不少的贴子，从里得到很多经验，结果还是没有办法完成下去，只好问了IBM 要一份安装实例，依照实例所述，最后成功地进行安装。
回想论坛里的贴子，大部分都是只说到一些master的设置，对于client的设置都只是一带而过，我就是在这一块上面陷入了困境。
下面来说说client的设置，主要是client没有系统这种情况，希望能给对nim兴趣的朋友带来有用的信息。由于由于是从文档上转摘、修改，本人也懒得修改，不同的地方请大家修正。
启动客户机，并且进入sms 菜单（主要是设置client的IP地址）
选择 RIPL（remote initial program load setup ）
选择 set address
输入：
client address : 172.16.3.201（client）
server address : 172.16.3.202(master)
(在附件里倒置了）
gateway address : 172.16.3.1
subnet mask : 255.255.255.0
选择 ping
ping set up :
client address : 172.16.3.201
server address : 172.16.3.202
gateway address : 172.16.3.1
subnet mask : 255.255.255.0
选择 adapter
选择 ping
如果配置正确的话，ping 的结果是ok .
exit 退出
选择：mutiboot startup
选择 ：boot sequence
设置启动顺序：
1. ethernet
2.hdisk
exit
在master端：
smitty nim_bosinst >>
>> rte - Install from installation images >>
>> lpp_source1 resources lpp_sourc >>
>> spot1 resources spot
…………

这一步会在/tftpboot目录中产生安装的引导程序
